Your favourite new popstar goes by the name of Lil’ Chris.
A familiar face to viewers of Channel 4’s ‘Rock School’, Chris is about to set the charts alight when he releases his debut single Checkin’ It Out on September 25th.
At just 15, Chris was born to rock.
After an early education listening to Blink-182, Iron Maiden, The Undertones and Blondie, Chris quickly learnt that being a rock star came naturally, but even he needed a little guidance.
And who better to give it than the King of Rock Gene Simmons, who famously told the world he wanted to Rock and Roll All Night when fronting Kiss.
Although the show ended last year, you’ll no doubt be aware of Chris since he’s been building fans online, including record label bosses who signed him to RCA earlier this summer.
His songs are blisteringly fast – intentionally so.
“The slowest we’re going is mid-tempo,” Chris says of the forthcoming album “and even then it’s still going to rock out.”
With Checkin’ It Out leading the charge, and the album all ready to go, expect Chris to be the name on everyone’s lips this autumn.
